Our Signature Cocktail Recipe in 5 Steps
At freetides we’re passionate about a good cocktail and we like to be adventurous our mixes, so we thought we’d share the recipe to our signature (and favourite) cocktail with our Sisterhood. Those of you who came to our Summer Party at Wolf & Badger last year will be familiar, and for those who aren’t we proudly introduce the lesser known…Mojito Spritz.
Makes 1 spritz (double up, triple up, quadruple up to share with friends)
Serve in a champagne glass.
1 lime (juiced)
Small handful of fresh mint leaves
1tbsp Demerara Sugar
White rum (liberal splash or 1 measure depending how you’re feeling)
Prosecco
Soda water
Crushed ice
Make the mojito syrup by melting the sugar and adding the lime juice and mint leaves. Muddle and mix for a couple of minutes until the mint and lime flavours are infused into the sugar syrup.
Add your mojito syrup, rum and a small handful of crushed ice to your glass.
Fill your glass with prosecco until 3/4 full.
Top with a dash of soda water.
Garnish with mint leaves.
**You can play around with the measures of rum, prosecco and soda to taste - there are no rules!
