Our Black Sands Collection is inspired by the volcanic black sand beaches of Bali, the breathtaking island in Indonesia where our swimwear is made. Whilst on a trip to Bali we were moved by the intense mood and beauty of the black sand at Amed beach. Amed beach lies in the shadow of the sacred Mount Agung, an active volcano whose lava creates the black sands beneath it.

We felt inspired that from something so powerful and fierce, something as delicate and beautiful as black sand could be created. We saw the connection between this natural wonder from Mother Earth and the duality of strength and beauty that we hold within us as women forming our innate femininity.

Each freetides collection is limited, launching in one colour only and taking inspiration from Mother Nature. Our Black Sands Collection is dedicated to the Balinese black sands that can be found all over the island and their divine bond with womanhood.

Every piece is designed and individually hand finished in the UK.
